Radio Indigo - Two Years And Counting

Gave my soundbite to Radio Indigo today.
They've just completed two years of operations and are celebrating the anniversary today, on air.
Meghna and Saggy seem to be having a ball. Radio Indigo has been a very unique experience. They are an all English station, and I started listening to them when they were on WorldSpace, and then they moved to FM 91.9 in Bangalore.
A well balanced library ensures that their programming is nicely laid out, with a spread aimed at almost every genre of music that I can think of.
Personally, I think Radio Indigo is plugged-in, and it shows. My favourite is Rohit Barker, doing his usual zany/fruit-cake thing from 5:00PM till 8:00PM on the weekdays, and the retro show on Staturday mornings.

Hi Ronnie,
happened to see your blog through wikipedia. i was surprised that see someone who is such a fan of one radio station when we have so many! actually the others are not in competition here!
meanwhile the ex-RJ Cindu is back in town. met her yesterday and had a great chat after a long time.

Yeah, I miss Cindu more often than not... She was very easy on the system in the mornings...:)

Never had the pleasure of chatting her up though.
